The Department of Aviation’s multi-faceted music campaign, including its
newly re-vamped overhead music program at O’Hare and Midway International Airports,
received a first place award in this year’s Airports Council International – North America
(ACI-NA) 2008 Excellence in Marketing and Communications Contest.January, 2007 - O'Hare International Airport won the Global Traveler Award for Best Airport in North America. O'Hare was awarded this honor by readers that participated in a survey that ran in the magazine from February 2006 to August 2006.
