| Tips for navigating our site much easier: Please Note: These tips are designed to work primarily with Internet Explorer. Although our site may be read in other browsers, to fully access all of our enhancements, we recommend that you download the latest version of Internet Explorer in order to fully utilize all of our features. For the portions of our website which receive a high volume of visitors, we have focused on having a table in addition to a drop box option (such as with FIDS - Flight Information Display) for both O'Hare and Midway. On our homepages where we display announcements, we have put in a link, in addition to the scrolling script so that our content is accessible to all visitors. We have provided revised maps in PDF format of our gate and concessions areas at both airports so that visitors may read them in the latest version of Adobe Reader, designed with many enhancements for users of assitive technology. At various locations on our website, we provide the direct link to the Adobe Reader Software, in addition to the link noted below. If you are using Internet Explorer 6 or higher: Open Internet Explorer's "View" menu (or press Alt + V) You may wish to change your monitor setting to 800 x 600 pixels. This allows a larger viewing area on your monitor. To adjust this feature, go to the Control Panel of your Operating System and follow the prompts. High Contrast - Internet ExplorerPlease see Microsoft's Step by Step Tutorials for instructions on how to turn High Contrast mode on. Go to the "Help" on the Top Menu Bar; Go to "Contents" and under the Index Tab, type the words: high contrast. A listing will appear telling you browser features to aid your use of the internet. Many types of Assistive Technology Software are compatible with Internet Explorer 6 and above.
