| Butch O'Hare Exhibit Terminal 2 An original F4F-3 Wildcat recovered from Lake Michigan by the United States Navy
and loaned to the Air Classics Museum is located airside in Terminal Two. The
World War II fighter plane was restored to replicate the one flown by
Lt. Commander Edward "Butch" O'Hare during the
Congressional Medal of Honor winning flight. Sponsored by the City of Chicago
and McDonald's, the exhibit honors the extraordinarily heroic feats of O'Hare
International Airport's namesake. Plaques are also on display.
