O'Hare International Airport offers a number of services for travelers arriving in the City of Chicago. Whether you need help locating a lost item, need tourism information for Chicago, or need help finding your way around the airport, we are here to help.

Airport and tourism information

If you need help with directions inside O'Hare or would like tourism information on the City of Chicago, please do not hesitate to ask one of our dedicated volunteers stationed at the Travelers Aid Services booths throughout the airport.

For more information on the various events and places you can visit throughout the City of Chicago, you can consult the ChooseChicago website. There you will find information on hotels, Chicago neighborhoods, and a list of the things you can do in the city.

The Airport Transit System (ATS)

Taking the airport transit system is a convenient way to travel through O'Hare. The ATS is a free, fully accessible, self-operating 24-hour rail system that travels between the three domestic terminals (1, 2 and 3), the international terminal (5), and long-term parking. First Aid

The University of Illinois at Chicago has a Medical Center at O'Hare that offers emergency treatment/urgent care, occupational medicine and other services. 

               Location:                           Terminal 2 - past security on the east side of the main hall
               Hours:                                7 days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travelers aid services

Travelers Aid Chicago is a social service agency located at O'Hare. It provides guidance, support and advocacy services for passengers during travel. The professional staff in both the booths and the main office can assist with crisis intervention information as well as social services for travelers and visitors.

United Service Organization (uso)

The United Service Organization (USO) at O'Hare offers a variety of services to active military personnel passing through the airport as well as their dependents. Some of these services include free refreshments, information and referrals.

Passenger assistance program

Was your flight canceled and you must spend the night at O'Hare? When requested by the airlines, the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) will provide cots with a pillow, blanket and a Passenger Amenity Kit (toiletries) to help make your unplanned stay a bit more comfortable. Check with your airline to determine if the Passenger Assistance Program is available.
