Chicago, June 6, 2013 -- Lakeshore Express Aviation today began flight service between Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW)and Oakland County International Airport (PTK).

Ramp construction by the Illinois Tollway is scheduled to begin during the week of June 3 on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) interchange connecting I-90/I-190/O’Hare/River Road and the Kennedy Expressway. The project will require two weekend closures and detours of I-190/River Road ramps. The ramp closures will take place from 10 p.m. on Friday, June 7, through 5 a.m. on Monday, June 10, and for the same time periods on Friday, June 14 to Monday, June 17. Motorists should anticipate slower traffic in and around O’Hare International Airport during the construction and ramp closures. CHICAGO, June 3, 2013 - O'Hare International Airport now offers expedited "1-Stop" customs processing for international passengers arriving without checked baggage. The new initiative will streamline the U.S. entry process and minimize customs wait times. "1-Stop" is available to all passengers who arrive at O'Hare's International Terminal 5 with only carry-on luggage and proper documentation.
