O'HARE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WELCOMES USA 3000 AIRLINES TO CHICAGO

USA 3000 Becomes the First New Airline to Inaugurate Service to O'Hare Since September 11th

CHICAGO - May 1, 2002. O'Hare International Airport today welcomes the launch of USA 3000's daily non-stop service to several Mexican and Caribbean destinations. The introduction of passenger flights by USA 3000 will be the first new airline service since the events of September 11th.

"We welcome USA 3000 passenger service to O'Hare," said Chicago Aviation Commissioner Thomas R. Walker. "More and more passengers are flying as the summer approaches, and USA 3000 is a welcome addition to our airport."

The first USA 3000 flight will depart O'Hare for Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. In addition, the airline is working in conjunction with Apple Vacations to offer other destinations to warm weather destinations, including St. Lucia, Aruba, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo.

"Our brand new Airbus A320's boasts the latest avionics technology and passenger comforts, featuring just 168 seats instead of the usual 180," said Trevor Sadler, Manager of Stations for USA 3000. "In addition, all our passengers will enjoy state-of-the-art audio-visual systems and enhanced in-flight services, including a choice of hot meals, complimentary mimosas, and cookies."

The addition of the USA 3000's Airbus A320 service represents growth in international service for O'Hare. A total of 47 scheduled and charter airlines offer non-stop and direct service to 204 destinations around the world.

O'Hare is pleased to welcome USA 3000 passenger service and looks forward to continued growth in the international sector. "O'Hare offers more non-stop service than any other airport in the United States, said Commissioner Walker. "With so many travel choices, O'Hare continues to offer more of what travelers want in quality air service."

"We are delighted to be coming to O'Hare in support of Apple Vacations long and successful operations from the Chicago metropolitan area," said Sadler. "By providing amenities normally reserved for first class to every passenger, USA 3000 looks forward to establishing a lasting relationship with Chicago area travelers."

USA 3000 also serves Newark and Philadelphia airports in the United States. The airline has received scheduled and charter certification from the U.S. Department of Transportation for both domestic and international air travel, and has been approved after the most stringent testing by the Federal Aviation Administration.
