At Midway International Airport, we understand the needs of our travelers and provide a variety of special traveler services to make your visit to the airport and the City of Chicago pleasant and convenient. Whether you need to locate a lost item, are looking tourism information or want to locate services in the airport, we are here to help.

Airport and Tourism Information

To find information about Midway and the City of Chicago, please don't hesitate to ask one of our dedicated volunte​ers throughout the airport.

For more information on the various events and places you can visit throughout the City of Chicago, you can consult the ChooseChicago website. There you will find information on hotels, Chicago neighborhoods and a list of things you can do in the city.

Translation Service

Travelers who require translation service are encouraged to visit our information booth in the Baggage Claim area. I-Speak language cards​ (which help non-English speaking persons identify their spoken language) along with a Limited English Proficiency (LEP) phone are available to provide one-touch access to quality interpreters through pre-programed buttons in over 200 different languages.

International Traveler Services

We want to make sure your arrival at Midway is smooth and easy. If you are an international traveler, there are a number of services available to you at the airport such as foreign currency exchanges, information booths and Automated Passport Control for U.S. and Canadian passport holders.

The United Service Organizations (U.S.O.) at Midway offers a variety of services to active military personnel and their families, including free refreshments, information and referrals.

PASSENGER ASSISTANCE PROGRAM 

Was your flight canceled and you must spend the night at Midway? When requested by the airlines, the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) will provide cots with a pillow, blanket and Passenger Amenity Kit (toiletries) to help make your unplanned stay a bit more comfortable. Check with your airline to determine if the Passenger Assistance Program is available.
