General Parking Information
There are several parking options at Midway International Airport ranging from hourly and daily parking to long-term/economy parking. This page is designed to provide information so you can determine which lot best suits your travel needs. Rate information for each lot is available here and descriptions of the lots are below. As you approach the airport, signs on the area roadways will guide you to the different parking lots.

Main Parking Garage
The Main Midway Airport Parking Garage, located east of Cicero Avenue between 55th and 59th streets, offers Daily and Hourly parking. The overhead clearance is 7' 2" for all levels.
Daily Parking
Levels 4, 5, & 6 of the Main Airport Parking Garage are designated for daily parking. Level 2 is the rental car pick-up and drop-off. Daily Parking provides easy access to the Terminal Building via the Pedestrian Bridge.
Hourly Parking
Level 1 of the Main Airport Parking Garage is designated for Hourly Parking, providing easy access to the Terminal building. It is intended for parking three hours or less, not for overnight parking.
Long-Term Parking
Economy Lots and Economy Garage
The Yellow Economy Parking Lot is located east of Cicero Avenue and north of 55th Street. The Red and Blue Economy Parking Lots are located across Cicero Avenue from the Yellow Economy Parking Lot. The Economy Parking Garage is located in the Blue Economy Parking Lot.
Designated parking is available in all parking areas for people with disabilities. For further information, please call 773-838-0756.
Complimentary Shuttle Bus Service is available from the Economy Parking Lots and the Economy Parking Garage to the Terminal building 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Shuttle Bus Stops are identified by numbered signs. Please note the shuttle bus stop number where you are picked up from upon your departure from the lot. Buses depart the Terminal building every 15 minutes from the lower level between doors 3 and 4.
Clearance in the Economy Parking Garage
The clearance in the Economy Parking Garage at Midway is 8' 2".
Parking Longer than 30 Days
If parking in excess of 30 days, please call 773-838-0756 to make arrangements in advance. If arrangements are not made in advance, vehicles parked
over 30 days will be considered abandoned and will be towed at owner's expense.
Parking Availability
For parking lot space availability, please refer to the parking module on the left, or tune to 1630 AM within 2.5 miles of Midway International Airport.
Payments
Whether you need to park your car at the airport for a few hours, a few days, or longer, Midway Airport provides several parking options. Parking fees are based on the actual time a vehicle is in the facility. Discounted parking is not available. Rate calculations are based on the area parked. Check here for parking rates.
Payments are made with the cashier upon exiting the lots. Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and Carte Blanche are all accepted forms of payment.
Hybrid Vehicle Only Parking and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Sustainability is an important mission for the Chicago Department of Aviation. In most lots premier parking spaces are available for Hybrid Vehicles. Look for available spots with Hybrid Vehicle Only signs. For more information on Electric Vehicle Charging Stations click here.
Disabled Accessible Parking
Disabled Accessible Parking is available in all parking areas. For further information please call 773-838-0756.

Booted Vehicle Information
Chicago's vehicle immobilization program, better known as the boot program is enforced within the Midway International Airport parking lots. If your car is "booted" please see the parking booth attendant for options and details. If your car is "booted" please go to the Chicago Department of Finance or contact 312-744-PARK for options and details.
Restricted Parking
Semi trucks, trailers, mobile homes and large box trucks are prohibited from parking in any of the Midway parking areas. This includes any vehicle that occupies more than one parking space.
Violations
All vehicles parked in non-designated parking spaces will be towed at the owner's risk and expense.
