Pace Bus Service


Pace provides bus service throughout the Chicago suburbs and to both Midway and O'Hare International Airports. Seven Pace routes service Midway, and you can check the Pace website to find which route best serves you. Their drop off and pick up locations are conveniently located near the Midway Transportation Center*

Bags ride free! There are no luggage restrictions on Pace buses. If you're traveling with caged pets, they ride free as well. Check the Pace route map and schedule to help plan your trip.


Midway Transportation Center

The Midway Transportation Center is located adjacent to Midway and is a combined rail and bus station that serves the CTA Orange Line, CTA buses and Pace buses. Access to and from the airport terminal is via an enclosed walkway.

*If your trip consists of a transfer between a Pace bus and the CTA, you can spend less by purchasing a Pace/CTA electronic fare card which is valid on both systems. If paying cash, you will need to pay $1.75 on the Pace bus and separately pay $2.25 to board the CTA.
