To assist you through Midway, each airline offers wheelchair assistance to passengers with mobility impairment. This service can assist you in traveling to or transferring between gates. Each airline coordinates their own wheelchair assistance. Contact your airline prior to travel to add this to your reservation.
We have partnered with Aira to provide free access to on-demand remote visual interpreting to those who are blind or have low vision. For more information visit aira.io.
ASL interpretation services are available for Deaf and Hard of Hearing travelers. Passengers may request assistance at Airport Information Desks or from Airport Information Ambassadors, who can connect travelers with a live ASL interpreter through a video remote interpretation service. Airport Information Desks are located in baggage claim areas and in the secure side of each terminal beyond the security screening checkpoints.

We have partnered with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program to offer additional support to travelers with invisible disabilities such as autism, PTSD, or hearing loss.
Lanyards, bracelets, hats, and other Sunflower items with a green background and a sunflower enables individuals to discretely indicate that they have a non-visible disability and may need additional assistance, understanding, or more time.

As part of the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Diamond Self-Select program, dedicated lanes that allow families and individuals unfamiliar with air travel, as well as travelers with special needs, are available at all TSA security checkpoints at Midway.
All restrooms located throughout the airport have wheelchair accessible facilities. In addition, there are six All Gender Restrooms located throughout the airport.

Our Mother's Room was created specifically for traveling, nursing mothers. The room offers a tranquil space for mothers who are breastfeeding their children and would prefer to do so in a private setting. It features comfortable seating along with a sink and wash area.
MAMAVA pods provide a safe, private space to pump or nurse on the go.
Outdoor Service Animal Relief AreaThe SARA is fenced in with a bench and bags are provided for pet waste.Location: On the north end of the Lower Level terminal driveDirections: Exit through Lower Level Door #4 near Baggage Carousel #8. Turn right and walk past the bus stop.
Indoor Service Animal Relief Area (SARA)The indoor SARA is specially designed to accommodate passengers traveling with service animals or pets. The room is 8'x8' and has a sink, paper towels, a relief pad, and a water hose. Location: Concourse A | Gate A4A
Elevators located in the terminal building provide access to all passenger levels of the airport complex. All elevators have Braille and raised numerals.
The terminal's baggage claim area features a convenient Self-Service Repair Station designed to help travelers quickly handle minor luggage, equipment, or assistive device repairs. This station is located next to the Chicago Police Department help desk and is equipped with mounted air compressor (130 PSI Max Pressure), tool kit, and a wheelchair charging unit.
