There are a number of resources available to you as an international traveler visiting Chicago or simply passing through Midway International Airport to a final destination.
As an international traveler entering into the United States, you should be aware of the rules for bringing items into the country from your trip. The Know Before You Go information provided by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website offers a list of resources for international travelers such as regulations, what to declare, exemptions, etc.
Click on the link above to reference the list of resources so you are prepared when you arrive at Midway.
Midway has Information Booths stationed at the lower level baggage claim area. Airport employees and volunteers are more than happy to assist you during your time at Midway.
A foreign currency exchange is provided by Seaway Bank in Concourse A. Click here for information on the location and its hours of operation.
If your flight is canceled and you find yourself having to spend the night at Midway, the Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) will provide you with a Passenger Amenity Kit to help make your unplanned stay a little more comfortable.
The kit includes essential toiletries such as: basic lotion, soap, toothbrush, etc.
