As one of the busiest airports in the world, there are always many travelers arriving and departing from O'Hare International Airport. For this reason, O'Hare offers many convenient options to easily drop off and pick up passengers.
Drop Off Options
Curb Front
Departing passengers can be dropped off at the curb front of any O'Hare terminal. Simply follow the signs for Departures which lead to the upper level roadway. From there you can drop off at the terminal where the departing airline is located. Upon entering O'Hare there are signs informing you which terminal each airline is located. You can also find that information
here.
All terminals are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair assistance is available through your airline. Please contact your airline in advance to make arrangements.
Kiss 'n' Fly
Kiss 'n' Fly is an easy way for passengers to avoid the terminal area roadways, which can get congested during peak arrival and departure times. The Kiss 'n' Fly drop off point provides passengers direct access to the Airport Transit System (ATS), which transports passengers to and from Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 5, as well as the Multi-Modal Facility (MMF) for rental cars, Economy Parking Lot F, Kiss 'n' Fly, Pace buses and Metra.
We encourage you to follow these simple drop-off and pick-up procedures:
Drop-Off
The drop-off point is located off Mannheim Road and Zemke Boulevard, on the northeast corner of the Multi-Modal Facility. This location is particularly convenient for travelers reaching O'Hare from the north and northwest suburbs.
Pick-Up
Passengers arriving at O'Hare should take the ATS back to the Multi-Modal Facility, where your party will be waiting for you. There is a 15 minute parking limit in the lot.
Directions
From I-190:
Take Exit 2A, Mannheim Road north ramp, to Zemke Blvd. At the light turn right and then take another right at the first stop sign. You will see signs for the Kiss 'n' Fly entrance.
From Higgins Rd:
Follow Mannheim Road south to Zemke Road and turn right on Zemke Road. Follow the signs along Bessie Coleman Drive and make a left at Coffey Road, where you will see signs for the Lots H & F, Rental Cars and the Kiss 'n' Fly.
Pick Up Options
Curb Front
Passengers arriving at O’Hare can be picked up on the lower level, outermost curb. Follow the signs for Arrivals upon entering O’Hare.
Curbside waiting is prohibited at O’Hare International Airport. Any unattended vehicles will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense. For this reason, when waiting for an arriving passenger we encourage you to utilize the cell phone lot. Additional information on the cell phone lot is provided below.
All terminals are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair assistance is available through your airline. Please contact
your airline in advance to make arrangements.
Cell Phone Lot
The cell phone lot enables motorists to temporarily park- free of charge- until friends, family members or business associates deplane, collect their baggage, and call to be picked up at the curb front. These convenient waiting areas eliminate the need for circling the airport repeatedly if you are early or if a party arrives later than expected. Utilization of the cell phone lot ultimately results in less roadway traffic and congestion, less air pollution and more auto fuel savings.
