There are a number of shuttles and regional buses that service O'Hare International Airport, making it easy for passengers all over the region to travel to and from the airport.
Construction Alert: The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) advises of ongoing construction of the Lower Level Utility and Pavement Replacement (LLUPR) Project on the Lower Level Roadway at O’Hare International Airport, which will impact traffic in the arrivals lanes near Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
- Buses arrive every 5-15 min
- Bus stops are located on both the upper level and the lower level, depending on the route and terminal:
- Buses to remote parking lots (E, G, H) stop on upper level from the domestic terminals (1,2 & 3) and lower level in Terminal 5.
If connecting between domestic Terminals 1, 2 & 3, you DON’T have to leave the secured side and take the ATS, you can simply follow the overhead signage to guide you between all domestic terminals.
The CDA is committed to providing a quick and reliable bus shuttle service as the ATS modernization is finalized.

Airport shuttles offer a convenient alternative for traveling to and from O'Hare International Airport. Whether you are going to O'Hare from the city or suburbs, or trying to reach a hotel from the airport, shuttle services can get you there.
Go Airport Express - Shuttles & SUVS to City/Suburbs - Suspended Service
GO Airport Express offers daily shared ride and non-stop direct service to/from O'Hare. They provide door-to-door downtown coverage, including most Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs. They begin operations during the early morning hours as early 03:30AM.
Pickup: Shuttles pick up outside the Baggage Claim area in the innermost lane of the lower level roadways of the domestic and international terminals. They are located at Terminal 1 (Door 1E), Terminal 2 (Door 2E), Terminal 3 (Door 3E) and Terminal 5 (Door 5E). Advanced notice is recommended.
If your journey begins or ends outside the Chicagoland area, then regional buses may be a great option for you. There are several regional buses that service O'Hare and transport passengers to areas in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin.
